>>6988880As long as you're buying fairly modern kits (like say, made within the last 3-5 years or so), you don't really need to paint them. Color separation and multi-color injection molding has gotten advanced enough that most kits look good right out of the box. You might want to panel line them to bring out the recessed detail more, but that only costs like $3-4 or whatever for a gundam marker or Sakura Micron.
Pretty good recent example: this is the HG Barzam and Mk.II Titans, both straight builds with no panel lining or stickers.
