>>6487959All I could do to my Artfire was split the hip piece slightly so I could drip silicone lubricant onto the hip ratchets' gears. Artfire's hip piece doesn't come apart any further than this since it seems to be held together entirely by glue.
I'm not really sure how well graphite powder would work for this since you really have to let it spread by itself (it probably would work it would just be a paint to get enough on). I don't really think this would do anything to prevent that breakage (honestly that was probably just a one-off) but this completely solved the over-tight ratchet joints for me. Once I worked in the lubricant the ratchet joints went from being uncomfortably firm to easy to move but still completely secure, like Inferno and Grapple.
