>>8801596>>8801605I’m not any of the anons talked to, but in ARAH, they would sometimes give Destro tan skin, and that “accent” the black gentleman who voiced him gave the character didn’t really sound all that Scotish. I’m not even sure what that accent was supposed to be.
Plus the fact he would have on gold chains, or chains, or even pimp get-up, I could see why some people thought he was just some black arms-dealer with a strange voice (if they didn’t catch the episodes that showed off that Destro was meant to Scottish).
And in Spy Troops, he wore, well, stuff you might've seen some urban black wear, and that deep voice, still without a Scottish accent.
Personally, I could see Destro being a black Scotsman, or just a white one. It doesn’t matter, due to the mask. But him being black (hypothetically) could bring about some “implication” about how he came to be in the McCullen family.
