This entire line.
First it got switched from 1:18 to 1:12.
Not really a big deal, considering that's what they've been producing for years and years and that's what their fanbase wanted.
So not only did they change the scale, but they also changed the engineering. They had announced they were going to use the Gylos system and anyone who has collected their stuff knows how simplistic the articulation is.
So that meant the engineering would be improved. Big plus.
But nope, the articulation was worse than Mattel's stuff. 2016 and they were giving us toys that were as poorly articulated as stuff from Mattel in 2005. Awful arm and torso articulation. Single jointed everything.
With every single wave since then, they really haven't improved. They continue reusing the same bucks, despite their high costs and the engineering is still pretty shit because of that re-re-re-reusing of molds.
The giant figures are also a disappointment, because they're even more limited, despite using joints that you would assume would be a big improvement. Instead, ball joints act as swivels. Complete shit.
Pretty much the only people who like this line are fanboys who are stuck in 2005 and care only about the compatibility with their He-Man figures. Nevermind that the 4H treats them as badly as Mattel, but He-Man fanboys are used to that.
