They just do them like that. Batman's was the same. Maybe because a bendy one could break easily.

It goes on the gun. You can see the strap dangling from the rifle in the show. You can also secure the strap to two parts of the gun so it's not dangling.

I've only ever posed him like that, pic related.
>slinging the rifle is such a pain. it doesn't feel like it works well on either side, either the trigger gets in the way of the cape or the scope bumps up against his back. i wonder if you can just pop in a small leather strip onto the rifle and be done with it
I pose it with the scope facing out. Fiddly for sure but a much more elegant solution than the figuarts.
