>Trying to do OSL without even checking a tutorial because I think I'm too cool for thatWelp, looks like shit and kills the metallic shine. On a solid color, and better done, it would look like light but on this I suppose you have to use clear paints/inks? I'm gonna watch some vids out of curiosity now but I'm just going to strip and leave it normal.
Also notice the sculpt is not symmetric but I guess it's because it's a scan CAD from the had made one, they could at least put the visors straight tho.
Also about paneling with gloss finish I ended painting it with X-1 and a fine brush, not a lot to paint this time but for another thing I guess the best is doing it with a wash and then a layer of gloss varnish.
>>6626197Usually for spraying too far (particles stay longer in the air and clump) but don't disregard any other reason.
Could be bad paint but I never encountered it from any company so it's incredibly rare and even stranger to go bad as I have tamiya/vallejo paints from 12 years ago that I'm using and the only thing is that tamiya enamels turned goopie (revived them with enamel thinner) and their acrylics got a bit dense (just add more thinner when mixing) so you had to store them rather awfully.
Personally I think is poor mixing and sprayed a bit far but hard to say if I'm not there.
