>>11302542Oh he works just fine, I even made a similar silver of him when I mixed the Urkku Orc with Barbarian Builder set and threw on an extra head I had. (he's in pic related, taken circa 2018) But he always felt just really boring, especially compared to some of the other characters in his wave. Just nothing really stood out about him to the point where if they just didn't paint him and sold him as a Legion Builder, he probably would've been a more popular figure.
I've actually broke him down for parts not too long ago and rebuilt him with some Wal-Tor parts to make the horned dude on the far left of this pic. >11289214
>>11302558Yes, I do have some Redemption Skeletons. I also have Kulu World, Storm Collectibles (both standard and deadframe), the October Toys Skeleton Warriors, the S7 Black Falcon, the Jazwares pirate from Fortnite, an FFVIII Forbidden and the previously mentioned BFS, Revoltech Skeletons and the Fwoosh garbage.
The Redemption skeletons are nice and solid, but they are pretty damn wonky, almost cartoonish in their build and design. They also feel kind of...waxy I would say. There's a shine to their plastic that other figures don't have. They're not very anatomically accurate, but they do have solid joints, a good range of movement and a LOT of personality. They're also pretty big and chunky, not as big as the Legion Skeletons, or as tall as the Storm ones, but they definitely like the bruisers of the horde.
I doubt you'll be disappointed, as both the Mimic and the Snake Skeletons actually look like a lot of fun. I've been tempted to grab both sets of figures, but other things usually spring up to sap my toy budget. I mean, I certainly wasn't planning to drop $50 on an Elric of Melnibone figure when I woke up yesterday....but here we are.
