I guess I'd believe that. It does feel a touch more complex than maybe a deluxe should.
He's packed with the articulation's that's for sure.
Neck is on a very expressive ball joint.
Two points of upward/outward motion in the shoulders and a swivel for rotation.
Hinge and the elbows and a wrist swivel. Which is unfortunately 96% blocked by that cuff piece.
Ball joints at the hips. Double hinges at the knees.
A waist swivel that gets locked in place by the belt.
And most interestingly, the ankles are on barbell joints. Not near as much tilt as a hinge but they do let you reorient the foot under Optimus if you're shifting his center of gravity for poses.
Combined with the the toe joint it can be pretty effective
