The diecast isn't very visible or plentiful, but it is (at least afaik) used in logical places like the bottoms of feet, and not stupid places like balljoints. The gloss coating is also really nice looking, and those parts are generally undergated so you don't have to worry about scarring them. But really, the #1 thing these kits bring to the table is proportions. They're very dynamic looking, quite unlike what most of what the MG line is doing. They look like they're built for action.
If you had to try one, I would put my money on Astray Red Frame. It's my favorite, and it feels really satisfyingly thicc and chunky in-hand.
