Alright so here’s something weird I found. A company called good stuff supplies prizes for crane machines/arcades. They have license deals with Mario, Marvel, Nickelodeon, etc. Well, these set of plushes came up when I was searching for Godzilla plushes. Initially, I mistook them for being some of those bootlegs you see from China but they do have the good stuff tags and I didn’t find them on AliExpress.
Aside from Ghidorah only having 2 heads, the out of place Gamera is named “Rhody” and the Rodan is named… “Mothy”. I know they’re trying to get around copyright but at least match up the bootleg names right.
It’s just interesting how even a company that already has big licensed products would still make their own rip-offs. I won a good stuff Luigi from an arcade and the quality is not bad.
