>>10130394The best ape pose I could get him into without screwing him back together. I'm also going to tighten up his hip joints with a bit of superglue, which will make poses like this easier. I'm quite happy with the posability though and this is also why I really want to go with a soft material for his lower legs. All I have to do now is 3D print a button for his electronic roar feature that I added, and weld some plastic from the Kong figure's upper back onto him to hide the lever hols and give him a more ape-shape, and he'll be ready for sculpting and sanding.
I'm also going to modify his beard a little. In Godzilla vs. Kong he has a much more pronounced beard than previous iterations but I think the toy overdid it a little. Again, he's gonna be covered in hand-placed fur which is going to hide a lot of crimes.
