That's nothing compared to how FT gave their sellers ultimatums and burned bridges over things like Cloud9 Quakeblast.
You could also question this from the other way: If NA = FT, then why isn't FT applying for design patents too?
If you want to argue that they share factories, there are some publicly known things backing that up like how the MHZ Owner made a declaration that they have obtained CADs of both FT and NA stuff last year, meaning that they may share the same prototyper or moldmaker. It's hard to say that NA and FT are wholly the same though because they have very different practices at the frontend side of things.
