Tripcodes were always meant to simply be a symbol that a person was a specific person in one or two threads where they needed to be identified for reasons of something like a project. Just having a tripcode on all the fucking time defeats the purpose of an anonymous imageboard, and is always going to come off as wanting to create a persona. Hence you see the dude above trying his absolute hardest to appear nice, and then taking off his trip to be mean. Keeps his squeaky clean self image intact. Just that this is incredibly stupid and everyone should just keep themselves anon because nobody is more special than anyone else here, and if you really want to be recognized, you can do that by being a good community member who provides good content. You don't need a fucking special hat to show how much more cool and unique you are than anyone else. Especially when you act like a holier than thou cunt the moment people remind you of where you are.
