>>10670117What exactly is the difference between Chinese Mythology and Chinese Fairy Tales? Additionally, what's the difference between Japanese Mythology and Japanese Fairy Tales? In my mind, it's easy to separate Western Fairy Tales from the Pagan Religions of Pre-Christian Europe and Judeo-Christian Thought because Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Goldilocks, Cinderella or Jack and the Beanstalk don't give me Pagan nor Christian vibes. But since polytheism is still somewhat alive in the Eastern World, I have no idea how to distinguish Eastern Mythology from Eastern Fairy Tales. The closest I could think of for a Japanese Fairy Tale is the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter with Princess Kaguya in it. But I couldn't tell you why it's considered a fairy tale as opposed to mythology within the Shinto or Japanese Buddhist Canon.
Anyways, to get back on the topic of toys, do you think they'll make figures for Pigsy, Sandy and the Bull Demon King?
