>>7259528Your ability to selectively read is pathetic, but it means you're not entirely hopeless, because you do recognize that you're wrong. Hence your need to ignore these facts:
•since my company makes and sells plastic and metal products, i would need to know how much the molds cost
•this manufacturer
http://www.fieldingmfg.com/frequently-asked-questions.asp gives in detail the hows, whys, and costs of producing zincshit (and plastics).
>If die-cast were such a costcutting measure then every company and their dog would be using die-cast on their figures, even cheapshit companies like Hasbro and Jazzwares. You mean like Mattel's Hot Wheels, which have remained at the same price for decades?
>And if it were such an obvious detriment to figure quality then high-end companies wouldn't touch the stuff with a bargepoleBut they make more money out of willfully ignorant people like yourself.
Again, it's a shit material. This is why companies like Hasbro and JAzwares don't use them for action figures. Joints wear away fast, not only because of the weight, but because the friction damages the paint and metal. It's an awful material, hence being used mostly stationary shit that doesn't move, like the bodies of cars and figurines.
Go read about the Star wars Elite series and all the problems people are having with the diecast breaking and the paint chipping. This is why on other collector lines the diecast is limited.
