>>6711844Yeah. There were gaps and I wanted to make all the surfaces flat like on the real thing. I even sanded off the hathes and rescribed them. Was a good practice for the side hatches.
Also last year I saw a model of a PzH 2000 on a rotating mirror display in a modelling show here. The same one I want to build. And I'm thinking of entering the competition this year with mine. It depends if I don't fuck it up. That guy won the prize for the best lithuanian model and his PzH 2000 was built OOTB with just a few of scratchbuilt things ( barrel recoil guard, antennas and wires for the radar). But I don't know if it'd be okay to copy his display idea. I could just use a mirror but it'd be static. A reflective surface would be a great way to show the extra touches like the rescribed hathes, thinned sideskirts, etc.
