I've been collecting more RDs lately and I'm really impressed with most of them. The latest I acquired is the Lancelot, although it's an older figure from 2015 the range of motion on this toy is just absolutely fantastic. It can pull off almost any pose. The sculpt is also incredibly dynamic, like a version ANIME figure, so no matter what pose it's making it looks great. It also comes with a generous amount of accessories. I wish bandai had made more Code Geass RDs, because I would've loved a police sutherland or sutherland air.
The only downside is some of the plastic feels cheap and thin, there's no heft, especially compared to newer RDs or Metal Builds.
I'm also really starting to really understand the difference in Metal Builds and Robot Spirits figures. There's a Toy-Sculpture spectrum where the MBs fall towards the later. I'm more interested in finding figures that can balance the two well. I feel that RDs tend to do this excellently, though I wish they were slightly bigger and had better paint apps.
