The fifth wheel is in two halves that slide independently from each other, and the hitch itself also has two sliders on each side to match. So it's like two sliders sliding all over each other.
It works pretty cleanly, and basically gets max 180 turning range which is really impressive, though the absolute extremes of his turning range make the hitch area pop apart a little.
