I don't consider my fix job for tr broadside to be any good, namely because my paint jobs are best suited to smaller sections, but thinking of doing small touches to this guy.
Rims are easy, silver leaf rims with a gloss topcoat, but what else?
Because the default toy colors homage star convoy I was thinking yellow for the truck front headlights, what about the bellow button for the spring gimmick should I leave that or should I throw some more color there?
What about his head, could go silver leaf again to make it like the star convoy headcrest or should I leave it, rather undecided but unlike the belly button or truck front it'll be easier to fix if I change my mind.
As for the stickers they can stay for now, the shoulder pylons do their job despite the rubbish plastic used.
>>6413026Don't count a name as a pro, but the leg fix isn't so bad depending on what method.
I put in plastic inserts between the ratchets so now those very destructive springs are what holds him up via friction rather than the ratchets cranking into oblivion, he holds up well but full support of the tail and keeping the legs straight in SOME poses are a necessity, if worse comes to worse I can take said inserts out as nothing gets physically modified, the biggest bother is not having the assembly fly up in your face because of the springs.
All I used was screw drivers and plastic cups, don't stuff the legs with paper that shit rots
