As other guy said, Mezco reuses blank bodies. So does Hot Toys. Cloth material isn't better either for both lines, it's actually the tailoring that keeps it looking as great as it does, say over Barbie or MEGO.
Plastics aren't actually better for Sentinel and SAS than say a GI Joe from the 00s and early 00s, before Hasbro switched to the gummier shit. Even then, no one here on /toy/ even knows what plastic their toys are made out of. People only like the texture or firmness of the plastic, which makes their beliefs on plastic about as accurate as saying which flavor of ice cream they like the most.
Only thing that really makes stuff like Sentinel and SAS stand out is just QC. SAS does (did) a great job with using complex paint apps, but not Sentinel. Sentinel is around equal with Figma in the paint apps they use. SAS is about the same with NECA, Mezco, and DCD.
Basically, it seems like you're saying something is Premium because all the lines you mentioned charge more than other collector lines. No other correlation otherwise.
>ib4 i don't own anything and can't judge toysI own more shit from more lines than 99% of /toy/
See pic? Sentinel's tailoring is worse than Mezco's. Just a bit better than what NECA releases for their clothed figures, despite the inflated price.
