>>9915234og first release spawn bought at a flea market with my dad when I was a child. before then it was all ninja turtles and power rangers, reading the comic he came with blew my freaking mind. This was likely 1995
next would be battleclad spawn (pic related)
this was a birthday present if I remember right, and he immediately shot up to my favorite toy. He looked so cool and I thought the armor gimmic was awesome and would lay it out and recreate the armor up scene from Guyver but spawn-ified for my toy (

his left arm would break at the elbow joint (the peg snapped in half) and this would be my first toy repair attempt. I took a toothpic and wrapped scotch tape around it until it was thick enough to snugly fit into the peg holes and hold his arm back in place. it worked for posing but i had to be gentle with it because it was literally just a stick held in with friction, meaning it could come off super easy. I still have it but its stored with all my childhood action figured, if I ever get my hands on him again I'll probably do a proper fix.
Also one of the blade ends pegs broke off in his staff so it can only have a blade on one side, which wasn't the biggest of issues but still sucked
third toy I'm not sure, it'd either be Nuclear spawn loose without accessories that my friend let me have, or
third would be "Iron Express" from spawn series 15 in 1999. I got it for my birthday and was disappointed, I thought the armored animals line was really cool but this was by far my least favorite because it was all robot, had a dumb elongated jaw and once opened i discovered it absolutely cannot stand up on its own at all. I would have loved any of the others from this line but instead I got the worst of the bunch. Parents really missed the mark on this one but as with all my action figures I still have him to this day
