Cause it seems like these threads actually last quite a while before being replaced so whenever a functioning member of the board posts his/her display it's probably like once a month at most, unless it's an update.
If we're supposed to strictly rely on new displays these threads would go nowhere.
Also I think that the display in question is a staple of this board and an inspiration to some, so I see nothing wrong with it being posted in each display thread.
