>>7482907The rifle was particularly cool. Not only does it have a removable magazine as well, but it also has an under-barrel rail system plus a small variety of different attachments including a grenade launcher and this bayonet. Of course, you can remove the rail attachment from the bayonet so that the Eva can use the bayonet on its own.
My one gripe with the Eva would be that the head doesn't have much left/right swivel range. There's a separate piece that plugs into the head near the chin, and this piece then extends down into the neck to make that area appear continuous and to allow for the opening mouth gimmick. This chin-piece then blocks the head from turning too far left/right, but now that I think about it I guess you could just remove that piece if you really wanted full range there.
Articulation is otherwise excellent; this kneeling pose was a snap to pull off! Unlike my Crossbone, the paint job on the Eva is perfect and it's just such a striking paint scheme. There's a really cool spread of accessories (just scratched the surface here) and heck, even the included base/stand have nicely painted details.
If this redesign works for you, then I think you'll love this MB. It's just such a darn cool figure, and I'm glad the reissue will give more folks the chance to own it.
