>>7722314Like the other anon said, try showing your dad what kind of layout he wants to make (Urban city, western valleys, forest hills, rural town, etc), what era he wants to do (Steam, early diesels, modern diesels), and how big he wants to make the display. Show him stuff like modular layouts and multi-level layouts too and see if that's his sort of thing too.
Also try and get a pic of what he has, for all we know he's gonna be collecting Pla-Rail.
