In my headcanon he is a member of TSOs, Ancient, Tyrant and Conjurer's species.
His name is Scavenger because his crappy job is it to acquire weaponry and armor from the ruins of the Matoran Universe in Spherus Magna.
He wields the staff of melting and a Kanoka launcher.
