Even as a modelfag, I'll admit that nobody gives a fuck about Lego sets released prior to the creation of the Minifigure because the vast majority of them are just plain old houses and cars/trucks . The sets/themes people actually bother to remember from before then are
>The Weetabix Castle (via Castlefags)>The old Blue-rail train sets (And only via trainfags)>Tipper Truck (Because of BrickTsar)>The Hobby Set line (Again, because of BrickTsar and the rerelease of the USS Constellation in the early 00s)>The first wave of Technic sets (Technic collectors)>Modulex (For the novelty aspect)If you look at a "modelshit" set and can't imagine building anything asides from what's pictured on the box then that's not a fault of the set, that's just you being a MOClet.
