I’ve only seen the first two Toy Story movies and I can honestly say that I don’t even remember BoPeep outside of her being a vague love interest for Woody. I do know that they “lost” her during TS3. And now she’s back, all kung-fu’ed up. I don’t think that turning her into a violent character is a good idea, especially seeing as how she’s made of porcelain.
I really wish Hollywood would stop making these violent female protagonists that kick the asses of men twice their weight & size. It really sells a false narrative to girls that could get them hurt or killed. That MLP:FiM episode where Rarity was kidnapped by the Diamond Dogs did this right. The other pones failed to rescue her because they tried to brute force their way into the Diamond Dogs’ lair. Meanwhile, Rarity rescued herself by using her wits & tactfully whining. That’s a good moral for girls AND boys. Use your brains, not your fists to get yourself out of a bad situation.
