Unlike the old alien creature mounts, these vehicles feel very on the nose in their execution. there were similar transformer esc vehicles released in the original toyline that combined together to form some clunky super robot and I never really cared for those either. I get the vibe I'd like them more if they were so obviously themed to each respective alien. The heatblast rocket likewise has a cool design but the paint job just kills any interest I would have had in it otherwise.
