These toys exist, like Dan Jurgens' Death of Superman figures.
>>9369326I actually think Mafex is doing a decent job at actually making comic book accurate action figures. I do not think they're at DCC levels, but ahead of practically everyone else.
What other toyline actually TRIES? Not Revoltech, since it's all Yamaguchi OC shit. Figuarts only seems to make movie shit. Hasbro does comic book accurate figures from time to time, but they generally just make generic sculpts.
McFarlane does it, but McFarlane is a small company with a few sculptors making a mass market toyline, with dozens of figures every 3 months, so only a few figures are made by their A+ sculptor(s).
So there's literally only a few companies who try to make accurate sculpts... at least for comic books. Figma does excellent sculpts for anime characters.
