>>10783142Call me a japfag but I think Lolux does the "let's make a bed-delete race truck" bit a lot better. Not because oh it's a Hilux Japan thing better hurr durr but because the wing and staggered wheel combo gives it a more aggressive and full profile. I seriously feel like Erikenstein Rod is missing some form of aero on the back or a more aggressive rear. There's some really cool details in the bed of the truck but the surprisingly thick Roll Cage molded to the body prevents almost all of it from being seen. Like it has a roof scoop for a huge rear-mounted radiator fan but the scoop is not very noticeable and the window piece the scoop is made with obscures the fan from view.
If I were to change it? Lower the entire scale of the car down to make way for a fatter rear tire as well as lowering the rim size. Add a less intrusive roll cage design on the back that shows off the interior piece more, and make the roof scoop inlet either larger or removed. Maybe throw a wing of some sort on there or give it some McLaren-esc top-exit exhaust system rather than a side pipe next to the door.
I get the idea of having a truck turned racecar, but I think Lolux just does it better given it's 70's F1 look and the more complete silhouette. If I were to pick a muscle truck Hot Wheels has dropped in the last few years? I'd probably be split between this and Solid Muscle.
Speaking of trucks when will we get Turbine Time back, truckchads?
