I'm going to save you both $300, and tell where that Kermit came from.
I actually made a Kermit Muppet just like that using that plush for only $25 shipped!
That's the Talking Kermit the Frogtographer plush doll from Macy's. It talks, and even comes with a real working old school camera. It was sold exclusively at Macy's for one year only during the Christmas season of 2002 in celebration of the new Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade's new Kermit balloon.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fjmn2Cmv0Y&ab_channel=iRememberThatI bought him in 2002, because he looked so much like Kermit, but I didn't wanna mess up my original mint Kermit so I ordered an extra one new off or Amazon for $25 five years ago.
All you have to do is
1) Carefully cut off his red winter hat which is sewn on to his head, and take off his red jacket. Now you have a perfect Kermit to work with.
2) Cut a line at the bottom of him (basically his butt) and take all the stuffing out, (and save it) so you can stick your hand in. leave a little stuffing at the top of his head so his head doesn't sink in.
3) Buy green fabric and make a long sock sleeve so you can fit your arm through
4) Sew the top of the green fabric sleeve you made around the inside of his neck so it's a part of him.
5) Re-stuff his body with the stuffing you saved all around the sleeve to give him his body shape back, but DON'T put stuffing in the sleeve or you wont be able to stick your hand in. only around his sleeve.
6) Sew the bottom of kermit around the sleeve so the surrounding stuffing doesn't come out but don't sew up the sleeve hole.
And BOOM! $300 Kermit
You can make a rod for his arm out of a coat hanger if you wanna move his hand. You can find how to make one on YouTube.
