>>5907164Don't be afraid of spraying up closer and laying it a bit thick, or at least do multiple coats. The classic 30cm distance you'll be told about online is a fucking joke, sure spray cans lay on thick but at that distance you're putting your shit to waste and only lightly sprinkling your kit.
Keep it even and under light there should be minimum highlights, the plastic shouldn't really shine though a layer of spotty top coat, it should be an even rough layer that diffuses light.
I'm no expert though, that's just what I've figured out on my own experience and in contrast to builds I've seen online I prefer my results.
Made a quick comparison out of stuff I found online, it might not be the fairest due to completely different builders and photo set ups but you can tell the left is a pretty bad matte
