>>6890941That makes even less sense.
Nickel and dimed means that the cost of a good increases, either through additions or an increase over time. the costs adds up over time, basically.
"You get nickeled and dimed over $10-20 figures" means it's about those figures, so what's being nickel and dimed here? Taxes? Accessory count?
The saying also insinuates that it leads to buyers not being able to afford it anymore, yet there's been an increase in buyers, such as with the SW Vintage line being brought back with wider support by more stores. It shows that there's still support and NOT balking at the prices, especially when you consider the fact there's more than twice as many buyers than what you claimed was the entirety of the base that would even think about supporting it.
What you're arguing doesn't make sense for the saying, especially when there's a shit ton of 1:18 collectors, which you've ignored time and time again. These collectors have also shown that they're willing to put in a shitton of money into their hobby, hence a large amount of high priced toys being supported like the Barge or pic.
Again, you're shifting the goal post to try and come up with any reason to continue backing your retarded view that only 3000 collectors would buy the Barge.
Not shocking that you also make shit up to justify your dislike of the Icons line.
It's seriously retarded, just like you making up the 3000 number out of nowhere.
tl;dr: you dont understand the saying and are proving how deluded you are
