>>8775156funny this thread pops up as im washing some 2nd hand bionicles
>So mold and crap exists, when you buy something used, or 2nd hand, how do you clean it off and disinfect it?Its dishwashing soap for me, if its good enough at cleaning things you eat off of, its good enough for toys
>I know soap and water is one thing but does that really kill mold?never had experience with mold on toys but cant you just tell just by looking at it if any mold is present? Use whatever disinfectant until you no longer see any mold and you shouldnt have to worry about it again.
If you constantly have mold growing on the toy theres either something wrong with the environment its stored in or with the toy itself.
>is there a way to clean the box without fucking up the cardboard?wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe then wipe it down with a dry tissue/paper towel shortly after. If you need to do anymore than that to clean the box, its probably not worth keeping honestly.
naturally all this stuff depends on the materials your cleaning, bionicles are made of ABS plastic so you can use most things to clean em as long as they wont scratch it up.
Its when you get to soft plastics that you should be more cautious I reckon
