>>6511642He isn't wrong. Ocular Max has fallen off the bus and their latest release was full of issues. I've got the Yellow trail breaker I picked up from TFcon and its a pile of tolerance issues and things that do not lock in place despite being absolutely gorgeous. Could you imagine them actually starting their defensor combiner with this kind of quality? It would make KFC blush.
The reformatted line is now more concerned about making their own versions of the characters they can remold into other things rather than nailing the tier 1 character first and then attempting to work around that, resulting in two or more wonky looking figures. Whirl, Rodimus, Cyclonus, all suffer from it. Roadbuster to Strika works great as a cool new take, but Bulkhead looks subpar. Thankfully the massive quality dip with the lockdown mold seems to have rectified itself as Whirl and friends are pretty solid, and their future stuff looks like they've dropped the wonky greebletown look for a more sleek and clean aesthetic they started with the DJD.
