While the overall shape looks more accurate on the Mafex, the sculpt decisions they made for the Damashi, for me, make it easier to pose, like the hip/leg joint is super easy to pose and keep looking good in a pose.
And there is a wider gap between the shoulder fin that goes around the arm on the Damashii, making easier to move the arm, while on the Mafex I found the shoulder fin kept getting in the way.
