& Derrick was very selective about his artstyle, there's a reason why in the Allspark almanac books some characters got redesigned by his pwn hands later (Barricade, Sideswipe Cheetor, Antagony & Inferno etc...) & later he admitted regretting doing these books because of the AVP lever of fanfic in them because they were made by someone else
But I'm sure he would've been happy about Animated being recognized
