>>8755476>>8755476The figure looks nice, but i think its the weakest part of the set: It reminds about one of the old Spyrius or UFO droids, but actually its worse.
It has a printed torso and printed back, but no prints on its arms (plain white for whatever reason) and no prints on the legs.
While it has an alternate face, it has no helmet or headgear whatsoever.
The Spyrius droid has printed legs as well as a transparent helmet. The UFO droids also had printed legs. I really don't get why Lego can't give the figure some more prints or at least some headgear.
Top row are the figures from an 8€-Enlighten set. Three figures, all with headgear, all with leg prints, 2 of the headgear have a print, backs are printed too of course. It also included weapons.
The only thing that the new Lego Droid has to offer is an alternative face. Really disappointing.
But whatever. I still like the look of the Drone and 7€ is not a terrible price either. For me this was an interesting experience to actually compare a modern set to modern 3rd party sets. And while the bricks are probably still slightly better, there are some real downsides to modern lego as well that go beyond the actual difference in the price and are more important to me.
I would happily buy into a theme of "space" sets similar to that Cyber Drone, even for Lego prices. But i would still be disappointed by the lack of prints on both figures or bricks and the really bad quality of boxes (ok, whatever.. in the trash it goes and Aliexpress has none anyway. The ones you get from comercially imported sets are way better than Lego's though) and instructions.
