I really thought these crossovers would lead to product from street fighter and tmnt would get released from hasbro, but then loyal subjects and jada stole the brands.
I really want to buy all the PR crossover figures, but at 30+$ hasbro kind of screwed their own line. I might pickup the tmnt stuff since its getting cheaper, but even if licensing matters, 30+ is still pretty bad.
Also cobra kai, and fortnite crossovers were both pretty awful. I don't know anyone who wants cobra kai figures because the characters are all pretty normal. The TF crossovers were pretty hated, and some felt pretty bad like cobra megatron. Thats due to american designers, instead of takara.
Also, I'm not sure how crossover copyright works, and would love /toy/'s resident lawyers to explain how these crossovers even happen, if another company like playmates has the license? Doesn't mattel have the license for jurrassic park, so shouldn't the JP Transformers been off limits?
