I'm not sure they'd stack up Spider-man after Spider-man instead of tackling new characters. With DP you can also reason that collectors may have wanted one last chance to get the old mold.
DP 2.0 was also to celebrate AY's anniversary so I think it's a special case. AY characters seem more likely to get costume variants than complete 2.0's. I feel like a leather jacket Logan would be more likely than another yellow tights Wolverine, for example, labeled as Logan and not Wolverine.
Classic Revo's seem like the exception due to age. We got a new Optimus Prime, so if they get the licensing and fan interest then they might revisit popular figures from way back when. He wasn't labeled as a 2.0 either, so maybe they consider it as a new take since it's technically a new line. It's a long shot but I'm hoping for another Toyohisa Shimazu or Dante.
