>>9651054The 1/72 Flanker I built (2011 tooling) went together well, and if Hobby Boss is, as I seem to recall, the same company then their 1/35 Toldi fit together nicely as well (though I used after-market tracks, 2012 tooling). Might be that shit used to be crap and they've improved a lot, or it varies and I just got lucky.
Now as for how to deal with shitty kits the first rule is to dry fit absolutely everything before you glue it in place. Also double check the manual about whether or not anything else will be attached in the general vicinity, and if so then check that for fit as well before gluing anything. Take a good look at the manual in general as well, they aren't always entirely trustworthy. Then just cut, whittle, sand, fill, sand again and so on until things (kinda) fit and the gaps are (mostly) filled. Most of all don't be afraid, that's just silly. If the kit is indeed more shit than you can be arsed to deal with then just let the finished result suffer accordingly, use use it as a paint mule, or just throw it away.
