>>9883410>I think color variants would work great, it's something the original line didn't really do outside some hard to find ones. There's potential.Transformers and MotU are quite good with repaints. But at some point i guess you need some redeco too. Best would be you create playsets that are repaints and have new monsters fitting the new color.
Or have some part be reusable for other playsets.
