The NES is honestly a perfect set in both the build process and final presentation, with my only gripe being that the Mario sprite piece doesn't really scale that greatly with the rest of the scrolling scene. Hell even though the thing is compatible with the Mario Starter Set, it's functionality is completely optional and covered up in the final build (Something you can't really say about the other Mario sets. This thing is easily my favorite set this year so far (With the Crocodile in a close second, but I'm biased here as a Trainfag).
tl;dr Lego Mario holds little interest to me as a longtime fan of both Lego and Nintendo games, but the NES is a fucking wonderful set
