I figured I wasn't going to blow $100 on that Disney Store set so I picked up the $24.88 Hasbro version today. The horse sculpt is awesome. It stands well on it's own. The mane and tail are made out of a softer more flexible plastic and they have embedded glitter. The thing looks amazing on my self. The budget Elsa he comes with isn't half bad. No elbow articulation but it does have knee joints. Her hair has tinsel strands in it like the original Rapunzel doll had. They also didn't go ultra cheap on the outfit. It's a double layered dress. Soft white cotton dress with a glittery blue tool dress over it.
The JCPenney Elsa looks nicer than the Hasbro version, but the JCPenney set is priced at $50 while the Hasbro set is just $24.88 at Walmart.
Any word on if the JCPenney Elsa doll has elbow, wrist or knee joints?
