My point from the beginning has always been that scale isn't some sacred measurement that is perfectly consistent throughout official GW media, but that it's all over the place, and all that mostly matters is that space Marines are clearly bigger than normal humans, we don't need them to stand 6" tall next to our 4" storm troopers, were content with a 5" figure, because it retains the idea of their massiveness, but also works better as a toy. I even consistently talk about how I think X model wouldn't be that good of a toy because of a design choice that works for a small static statue, but not so much for a posable action figure.
If you want to be a lore/novel purist, and wank off to how space Marines tower over the pleb humans, then you go do that, away from us here who enjoy our figures mixed with our other stuff to maximize our own enjoyment.
Also, I wish I was a shill, cuz that means I'd at least be paid in figures, and I'd have every figure I could want! Instead I gotta carefully pick and choose what to get because space and money is tight.
Also also, just got my templar and inceptors from a trade with a fellow joytoy shill, hope you get your Tau quickly and enjoy them as much as I am my guys! Only downside is 2.0 hands are so hard, but in this case I simply replaced them with spare rubbery chaos hands! The studs mix well! But inceptor head joint doesn't want to accept the swap with my BA aggressor, so I can't have my ideal chonky boyz.
