I had the original, got it as a reward for doing a good job not fussing while getting an MRI. Had a blood clot on my brain from a head injury I received on a field trip in Elementary School that went undiagnosed
and turned into swelling which made me start having migraines weekly around the time I was 12, and the resulting pressure on my ocular nerves caused light sensitivity that I still have to this day. I remember the glove that came with it being incredibly tight even as a 12 year old so it must have been made for smaller kids, but I had a great time running around blasting everything till the cartridges ran out and I never got any replacements. The original used proprietary silly string (Different size can/nozzle) so you couldn't just replace it with a can of the cheap stuff like you can in later models.
My mom's house is in the city and next to an old abandoned furniture factory with huge concrete walls, and to this day there's still some of the string from that thing hanging from where it melded and filled into the porous texture of the concrete. Whenever I go back to visit I usually see it and it reminds me of how fun it was.
