If we consider the idea that Grayskull came about because some ancient race of cosmic beings made it, what if there were those that opposed them, and they worship death and destruction because they find it beautiful or something. Anti-Eternia He-Man doesn't exist because he's just the opposite dimension version of He-Man, he was specifically created to oppose He-Man, both physically and ideologically.
Also maybe they're all black and red because light reflects differently on their skin, like how the light is weird on Giedi Prime in Dune.
