Also I wanted to add this. The reboot would have done well in composing a new line up of "original 10" from the best aliens present in the original series and AF/UA. I'm still confused as to why the 2016 series kept to the classic 10 for the first chunk of the season, when AF had much more anthro-centric and comparitively easier to animate aliens than the OG series did. If their entire mission statement was to effectively dumb down the franchise for a younger audience not present for the first four shows, why would they not just go ahead and pick and choose the fan favorites from across the franchise? Had they swapped out stinkfly, cannonbolt, and xlr8 for jetray, big chill, and humungosaur I think the reboot would have not only lasted longer but it probably would have brought in more of the built in fans. By the time they did bring in those later aliens Im pretty sure the majority of older fans were long fucking gone. Anyways that's the end of my rant.
