>>9751430I would not just go buy some random discounted ones. A good pair of nippers can improve your modeling experience substantially. You don't need Godhands, but go look for something single-bladed. That makes a world of difference in cleanup time and scarring, because single blades actually slice whereas dual blades crush. I think it's unlikely you will find single-bladed ones at your train shop, it's a pretty specialized item. I would just buy it online instead.
I have been using the Gundam Planet single blade ones for over a year now and really like them, but I think they're usually out of stock. Other small brands have popped up with single bladed nippers recently though, you should be able to find a pair pretty easily, and for cheaper than a pair of Godhands too.
