>>6507281I consider myself a reasonable doll collector. It's true that Ariel's face looks like the Gerber baby after getting hit in the face with a frying pan, and she has the flat shapeless body of a 10 year old, but I need a King Triton in my collection, and if this is the only way I can get one so be it.
The only thing that will have me pulling out my hair in the next few upcoming months is that they have left the Ariel/Triton set for last. We have to wait until almost the end of November to get it. It's like they knew this set was the only one worth a damn, and they left it for last to build up anticipation for the rest of the worthless line. In the past they would released these Designer sets in the months of Sept, and Oct, but this year they are stretching this out until mid November by releasing the first set on the last week of Sept instead of starting on the first week of Sept. The only other set I would have gotten was the Pinocchio set, but of course they made it a D23 exclusive
